I'm back??

Wow, it's been awhile! Have you missed me? I sure miss all of you! We have been so super busy around here, with moving, lots of family visiting, and my computer acting out in severe hatred towards me.

We started moving into our new apartment last Tuesday, and we still aren't done yet. I wish I could snap my fingers and it would finish itself. Wouldn't that be lovely?

On Sunday a bunch of family gathered at Great Aunt Betty Jean's for a get-together and it was so much fun! I saw a lot of family that I haven't seen in probably 10+ years.

Baby cousins

The kids from left to right:
Afton, Violet, Delaney, and Lily-Mae.  Violet belongs to my cousin Tara and Lily-Mae to my cousin Amy.  Lily-Mae is six weeks older than Delaney and Delaney is two weeks older than Violet.

Does it sound like I'm about to give you a word-math problem?  Ha!

Cousin Tara made the matching shirts for the girls, and I LOVE them!  I have many more photos, but they are still on my camera, as my computer constantly overheats and shuts down when I try to open and edit them.  Stupid computer.  Never buying an hp again.  Never!

I did get a new love though.
So Excited.
me with my new camera

A Nikon D3000!  This thing is like a whole new world of cool for me.  I don't even know where to begin to learn on this thing; there are so many options and buttons and and and stuff.  It's going to be a blast.

Here is one of the first photos I took on my new baby:
Delaney on my bed

Delaney always makes a great subject.  She was actually playing with a plastic spoon on my bed.

If the weather ever decides to cooperate with me again, I will be taking ten tons of photos of the kids playing outside.  But for now I will just resign myself to slowly continue moving crap from one apartment to the other and loading logs in the fireplace to keep us warm over the stormy weekend.

I hope you all have been doing well, and I will catch up on your blogs super soon!
